Outreach Ministry Circle
It takes the gifts of many to make St. Patrick’s the vibrant, spirit-filled community that it is. Please consider which of the following ministries calls to you. Your interests, your gifts, and your energy are a welcome addition to our community.
Social Justice Committee
Are you interested in exploring current Social Justice issues and how they relate to our faith? St. Pat’s Social Justice Committee meets on the third Sunday of every month at 11:30 am. We talk about a wide variety of social concerns, share information and make plans for how we can become involved in a pro-active way. There are many opportunities for advocacy, fundraising, political action, caring for the poor and oppressed, exploring liberation theology, and more. Please join us!

St. Vincent De Paul Society (St. Patrick’s local outreach organization)
Generous parishioners allow us to assist the needy in our neighborhood with rent, utility payments, food gift cards, and other things. Needs are referred to us through the SVdeP central office. We visit with those in need and provide first an ear and then help. In addition to the regular work of the society we handle the “Giving Tree” at Christmas, a food collection at Thanksgiving for The Food Bank at St. Mary’s, and a food closet in the parish center. Your desire to make a difference for those in need is the only “talent” you need to be part of our St. Vincent De Paul conference.

Noel House Ministry
Do you enjoy preparing a much-appreciated meal for others and sharing the experience with fellow parishioners? Do you desire to serve and to be involved with homeless women? Do you feel called to show interest and compassion for the less fortunate and to help them in a concrete way? Then consider helping Noel House Ministry by planning, preparing or serving our monthly dinners at Noel House Homeless Women’s Shelter. If you and your family like baking cookies there is always a need for the comfort of home baked cookies. Would you like to enrich these homeless women lives by helping with special Holiday events?

Broadway House
Broadway House is a home for 8 previously homeless women. A member of our community serves as a liaison to the House. The women need occasional rides to appointments and grocery store. Your gift of time to provide a ride would be much appreciated by the women.
