Sacraments
First Eucharist and First Reconciliation
We offer preparation for First Eucharist and First Reconciliation for children 2nd grade and older, each Spring. Please contact parish office to register or for more information.
Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available on Wednesdays from 5:15 to 5:30pm except for holiday times and other occasions. Please check with parish office for the week’s schedule. You may also schedule the sacrament by appointment. Contact the parish office.
Anointing of the Sick
Formerly considered the sacrament for the dying, the Anointing or Sacrament of the Sick is appropriately given when someone has had a change in their health or is going to have surgery or other medical procedure. Please call the parish office to request the sacrament. We also offer mass with the anointing of the sick in November.
Sacrament of Marriage
Arrangements for weddings are made with our wedding coordinator, Kay Farrell. We consider accommodating out-of-parish weddings if the church where the bride/groom is registered is not, for some reason, available. For in-parish weddings, the bride/groom must be an active member of the parish (being involved in parish activities and contributing financially on a regular basis) or have parents who are active members. Completing a marriage preparation program, such as Engaged Encounter, is a requirement for getting married in the Catholic Church. Please contact the parish for more information.
RCIA
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is a program for those wishing to be baptized in the Catholic Church. Those who want to become Catholic and who have been baptized in another Christian faith, are often included in the RCIA process. Our RCIA program, which lasts up to a year or more, is sometimes offered in conjunction with another parish. Please contact JoAn at the parish office.
Returning Catholics
If you have been away from the church and are experiencing a desire to return or “take another look”, please contact JoAn at the parish center. We offer a 4 week program that looks at basics concepts of the Catholic faith and offers participants an opportunity to ask questions and share their spiritual journey.
